Architect-engineer services sought for Corps South Atlantic area

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks firms capable of providing architect-engineering services in the Corps’ Jacksonville District and in the South Atlantic area. Responses are due Jan. 4.

The Corps’ Jacksonville District sought information in April for small businesses capable of providing civil works design and other architect-engineering services in the area.

The district now seeks information from all applicants for engineering and design services for predominantly civil works projects including environmental restoration, flood control, beach renourishment, erosion control jetties, navigation, water control structure design, levees, dams, utility systems design and relocation, and value engineering.

The agency expects to issue two contracts for one year with four option years valued at $1 million per year.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912EP12R0001 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.

Bidders are required to submit Standard Form 330 packages by 4 p.m. Jan. 4 to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Attn.: CESAJ-EN-TA, P.O. Box 4970, Jacksonville, FL 32232-0019; Forms may be obtained on the Internet at www.gsa.gov/portal/forms/type/TOP/category/22457/hostUri/portal.
