Bosnia seeks generator monitoring at 315-MW Visegrad

BANJA LUKA, Bosnia and Herzegovina 12/2/11 (PennWell) — The electric utility of Bosnia’s Serb Republic seeks bids to supply a monitoring system for three generating sets at the 315-MW Visegrad hydroelectric project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bids are due December 15.

Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske a.d. Trebinje took bids in September to control seepage beneath Visegrad Dam.

With funding from the European Investment Bank, the utility now seeks bids to supply a monitoring system for three turbine-generator sets at Visegrad. The work is to be completed in 23 weeks.
