Consultants sought to promote renewables projects in Caribbean

The multi-national Caribbean Electric Utility Service Corp. (CARILEC) invites expressions of interest from consultants to develop a prototype power purchase agreement to facilitate renewable energy projects in the nations of the Caribbean region. Responses are due September 10.

CARILEC said it received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank that it intends to apply to its Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy program. (HydroWorld 5/22/08)
