Czech firm seeks construction of 4.2-MW Roudnice, slalom, fish ladders

PRAGUE, Czech Republic 12/12/11 (PennWell) — Hydro developer RenoEnergie a.s. seeks bids to construct the 4.2-MW Roudnice hydroelectric project, including a canoe slalom course and fish ladders on the Elbe River in the Czech Republic. Bids are due December 21.

RenoEnergie awarded a 158.9 million koruny (US$9.6 million) contract in August to Mavel a.s. of the Czech Republic to equip Roudnice, which is to have a head of 2.2 meters and flows of 225 cubic meters per second.

Tender documents for the construction work may be obtained from the address below for 16,000 koruny (US$841).
