Czech firm seeks turbine-generator for Plzen-Hradste small hydro

PRAGUE, Czech Republic 5/4/12 (PennWell) — Hydro developer RenoEnergie a.s. seeks bids to supply a turbine-generator for the Plzen-Hradste small hydroelectric project on the Uhlava River near Pilsen in the Czech Republic. Bids are due May 18.

RenoEnergie awarded a contract in April worth about US$11 million to Sdruzenà­ firem MVE Roudnice nad Labem for work on the 4.2-MW Roudnice project in the Czech Republic.

The developer currently seeks a turbine-generator for Plzen-Hradste designed for flows of 4.5 cms and a head of 4 meters, plus ancillary equipment.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below for 1,200 koruny (US$64).
