Generator coolers sought by U.S. for 786-MW Oahe

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to seek bids to supply five generator air coolers for 786-MW Oahe Dam on the Missouri River near Pierre, S.D. Bids are expected to be due about May 27.

The Corps’ Omaha District said it expects to issue a request for quotes in May for supply and delivery of five replacement generator air coolers to the Oahe Dam hydroelectric project. They are to be manufactured by Enerfin, RAM Model No. F20/04108.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site,, by entering solicitation No. W9128F10T0029 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box. A solicitation is to be issued on the website in May with bids to be due about May 27.
