Pakistan seeks construction supervision for 4-MW Thack Chilas

CHILAS, Pakistan 6/13/12 (PennWell) — The Water and Power Department of Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region invites expressions of interest for construction supervision of the 4-MW Thack Chilas hydroelectric project. Responses are due June 30.

The Asian Development Bank is funding the work under Pakistan’s Renewable Energy Development Sector Investment Program.

The water agency seeks consultants registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council to review design and drawings and to supervise construction and equipment installation at Thack Chilas, to be built on Thack Nallah near Chilas. The work is budgeted at US$210,878.
