Supervisory civil engineers sought for Corps Risk Management Center

WASHINGTON 1/17/12 (PennWell) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Institute for Water Resources Risk Management Center seeks supervisory civil engineers to work from the agency’s Denver and Pittsburgh offices. Applications are due by Jan. 24.

The Risk Management Center leads, manages, and executes the risk engineering aspects of Corps dam safety programs.

The positions are listed as GS-0810-14 with a salary range of $98,562 to $138,899. Supervisory civil engineers supervise a team of 10 to 20 professional, technical, and administrative employees in risk management activities for civil works projects.

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, GS-13. Requirements include a degree in engineering in relevant fields or a combination of education and experience.
