Turkey developer seeks construction of 204-MW Alpaslan 2

ANKARA, Turkey 1/13/12 (PennWell) — A unit of Turkish hydro developer Enerjisa seeks bids to construct civil works and hydro-mechanical works of the 204-MW Alpaslan 2 hydroelectric project on Turkey’s Murat River. Bids are due February 13.

Alpaslan II Enerji Uretim Ve Madencilik Sanayi Ticaret A.S. seeks a contractor to perform Phase 1 construction of two diversion tunnels, gate shafts, and hydro-mechanical works at Alpaslan 2 Dam

The 8-meter-diameter diversion tunnels would be 875 and 950 meters long. Two 6.3-meter-diameter energy tunnels would be 170 and 160 meters long. The gate shaft would be 90 meters high.

Tender documents may be obtained until January 31 from the address below. Bids are due by 4 p.m. February 13.
