Hydropower operator Hydro Exploitation SA seeks bids for rehabilitation of two turbine-generators at the 14.4-MW Farettes hydroelectric project in Switzerland’s Vaud Canton. Bids are due January 17, 2011.

Hydro Exploitation, which operates the project for Romande Energie, awarded a 2.6 million franc (US$2.75 million) contract to EMCH & Berger SA of Switzerland to oversee construction of a new water supply conduit at Farettes.
