Acclaimed broadcaster coming to HydroVision 2010

HydroVision International 2010, scheduled July 27-30 in Charlotte, N.C., will feature a special closing luncheon with a visit from a North Carolina-based commentator and essayist with a national audience.

North Carolinian Robert D. Raiford, the featured personality on “The Big Show,” broadcast in North Carolina and heard on radio stations across the U.S., will bring his wit and extensive experience to end the week on an uplifting note.

Also, Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx will welcome HydroVision attendees during the opening keynote session on Tuesday, July 27. Keynote speakers will be James E. Rogers, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Duke Energy, and Brad Carson, director of the National Energy Policy Institute.

During the four-day event, the Charlotte Convention Center will feature a busy exhibition floor populated by the world’s biggest players in the hydropower industry and technical presentations and roundtable discussions by leading experts. More than 2,500 people are expected to attend HydroVision, which offers a wealth of networking opportunities with leading professionals and key decision makers.

Hydro Review, HRW-Hydro Review Worldwide and PennEnergy are flagship media sponsors of HydroVision International, which is owned and produced by PennWell.
