All-Russia hydropower engineers meeting planned

The Noncommercial partnership “Hydraulic Power of Russia” is planning the IV All-Russia meeting of hydropower engineers Feb. 25-27, 2010.

The event will be in Moscow, Russia, at the All-Russia Exhibition Centre. The meeting is supported by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Russian National Committee on Large Dams (RusCold CIGB), “RusHydro” ltd., “Irkutskenergo” ltd., “TGK-1” ltd. and other power companies.

The All-Russia meetings of hydropower engineers have been held since 1996 and represent an open branch-oriented professional platform where interested participants have possibility to discuss actual problems of the Russian hydropower engineering development and to work out a package of proposals on branch development in the long-term.
