Architect-engineering sought for Corps Great Lakes, Ohio area

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks architect-engineer services for a range of military and civil works projects in its Great Lakes and Ohio River Division of the eastern United States. Responses are due Jan. 16, 2013.

The Corps previously solicited water resources engineering services for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.

The Corps’ Louisville District now plans to award four indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity architect-engineer contracts for five years with no option years. Projects are to be awarded by individual task orders. The maximum cumulative contract value for the total contract is $9.5 million.

Work is to include military projects for the Army, Air Force, and other military customers of the Louisville District, including construction solicitations and preparation of requests for proposals for design-build projects. It also is to include civil works projects such as flood damage reduction studies and designs, ecosystem restoration, stream bank erosion control, navigation improvements, additions and repairs to locks and dams, geotechnical investigations, and levee and floodwall evaluation and design.
