KANSAS CITY, Mo., U.S. 9/13/11 (PennWell) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers again extended the deadline for bids to repair draft tube bulkheads and hoists at the 160-MW Harry S. Truman hydroelectric project in Missouri. Bids now are due Oct. 4.
On behalf of the Corps’ Kansas City District, the Corps’ Portland, Ore., District seeks labor, equipment, and materials to modify and repair all hydraulic hoist systems, to modify new draft tube latch systems, and to complete inspections and repairs to draft tube bulkhead assemblies.
