Bosnia extends bidding for seepage control at 315-MW Visegrad Dam

The electric utility of Bosnia’s Serb Republic has extended the deadline for bids to control seepage beneath 315-MW Visegrad Dam in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bids now are due September 21.

Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske a.d. Trebinje previously called for bids by September 7.

Elektroprivreda RS and two other regional utilities in Bosnia recruited consultants in 2007 to assist in dam safety and rehabilitation at several hydroelectric projects including to address the leakage at Visegrad. The work is to require 27 months.
