Brazil’s Reivax wins contract for upgrade of Chilean hydropower plants

Reivax Automation and Control has been awarded a contract with Endesa Chile for the modernization of the excitation systems and speed governor control of five hydro plants of the Chilean group, Reivax reported.

The scope of supply includes the following:
– 12 RTVX Power – Excitation and Speed Governor Integrated System
– 12 Systems of hydraulic actuators of the turbines and admission valve Fluidpower
– 12 Automation and Control Systems Vision line
– 5 SCADA Systems
– 12 sets of instrumentation for the power generating units

Besides the supply of  equipment, Reivax will provide all project services, transport to the power plants, disassembly, assembly, commissioning and training. The systems and services will be supplied for five different power plants.

Those power plants are:
– Abanico
– Cipreses
– Sauzal
– Sauzalito
– Los Molles
