Canada utility seeks circuit breakers for five hydro projects

Canadian utility BC Hydro seeks bids to replace low-voltage circuit breakers and related equipment at five hydroelectric projects in British Columbia. Bids are due June 13.

BC Hydro seeks replacement equipment for the 1,085-MW Mica hydro project on the Columbia River, 248-MW Bridge River 2 on the Bridge River, 804-MW Seven Mile on the Pend d’Oreille River, 694-MW Peace Canyon on the Peace River, and 2,480-MW Revelstoke on the Columbia River.

Work is to include removal and disposal of existing station service main, tie and feeder breaker cabinets as well as design, manufacture, supply and installation of low-voltage air circuit breakers and associated equipment.
