Canada utility seeks hydraulic hoist for 804-MW Seven Mile hydro project

Canadian utility BC Hydro seeks bids to supply a hydraulic hoist for the intake operating gates of the 804-MW Seven Mile hydroelectric project on the Pend d’Oreille River in British Columbia. Bids are due Oct. 30.

BC Hydro took bids in March for eight surface air coolers for generators at Seven Mile. It took bids last year to replace low-voltage circuit breakers and related equipment at Seven Mile and four other hydroelectric projects in British Columbia. It took bids in March for turbine welding at three B.C. projects.

The utility now seeks bids for supply and delivery of a hydraulic hoist for the intake operating gates of Seven Mile.
