Canada utility seeks motor control centers for 695-MW Keeyask hydro project

Canadian utility Manitoba Hydro seeks bids to supply motor control centers for the 695-MW Keeyask hydroelectric project in Manitoba. Bids are due Sept. 17.

Manitoba Hydro previously called for bids by Sept. 3 for spillway and black start standby power systems for Keeyask, on the Nelson River. It took bids in August for seven static excitation systems and seven static excitation transformers and in July for isolated phase bus for Keeyask.

The utility now seeks bids for design, fabrication and delivery of 600-volt motor control centers for the Keeyask project.
