Canada utility seeks stoplogs, gates for 695-MW Keeyask hydro project

Canadian utility Manitoba Hydro seeks bids for stoplogs, gates and trashracks for the 695-MW Keeyask hydroelectric project. Bids are due June 30.

Manitoba Hydro previously called for bids by July 15 for seven static excitation systems and seven static excitation transformers and by June 2 for switchgear and bus duct for Keeyask. It took bids in April to supply a draft tube crane and an intake monorail crane and in February to supply generator circuit breakers to the project.

The utility now seeks bids for supply and delivery of spillway construction stoplogs, intake and draft tube bulkhead gates, trashracks and followers for installation by others at Keeyask.

The solicitation may be obtained from the Canadian Public Tenders Internet site under Bids are due by 4 p.m., Central time, June 30.
