CEATI issues call for abstracts for workshop

MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada 3/14/12 (PennWell) — CEATI International has issued a call for abstracts for its October workshop in Montreal.

The event, titled “Planning for Extreme Events: A Water Management and Dam Safety Perspective,” runs Oct.16-17, 2012, and will examine how existing and future hydroelectric facilities might be impacted by low levels and drought conditions.

CEATI says presentations will be evaluated on their applicability to the subject matter and their technical merit.

Abstracts are due by 4 p.m. EST on Friday, May 4, 2012, and acceptances will be given no later than June 15. Full presentations will be due Sept. 7, with the actual presentations taking place at the event.
