China renewables program recruits technical adviser

The China Renewable Energy Scale-up Program (CRESP) invites expressions of interest from renewable energy experts to serve as international chief technical adviser. Responses are due April 7.

CRESP was formed by China’s National Development and Reform Commission, with the assistance of the World Bank and its Global Environment Facility, to help implement renewable energy development and investment, including hydropower.

Its project management office seeks renewable energy experts to serve as international chief technical adviser, with a minimum 20 years’ working in the field of renewable electricity. Responsibilities include providing quality control of documents in English, advising and assisting directors in implementing CRESP, providing access to international professional knowledge and experience, and capacity building of project management office staff.

Expressions of interest and qualifications are due to the address below by e-mail by April 7. Candidates will be hired as individuals under World Bank guidelines on a time basis. Only short-listed candidates will be notified.
