China seeks electrical equipment for 88-MW Cuijiaying

China’s Hubei Province seeks bids for electrical equipment for the 88-MW Cuijiaying Navigation and Power Complex project on the Han River in Hubei. Bids are due December 18.

Cuijiaying is part of the Fifth Inland Waterways project, which received World Bank approval in 2005 for a US$100 million loan. Objectives of the waterways project include providing cost-effective transport capacity for waterway users on the Han River as well as sustainable hydropower and water resources in the region. On behalf of Hubei Provincial Cuijiaying Navigation and Power Complex Management Department, China International Tendering Co. (CITC) invites bids for:
o Package 1: 110kV gas-insulated switchgear and accessory equipment;
o Package 2: Neutral point equipment of transformer; and
o Package 3: 110-kV outdoor open-type high-voltage equipment.

Bidding documents, in English or Chinese, may be obtained from the CITC address below upon written application and payment of 1,000 renminbi or US$125. Bids are due to the second address below by 10 a.m. December 18.
