China seeks transformers, controls for 65-MW Dagushan

Chinese officials seek bids for transformers, and other electrical equipment for the 65-MW Dagushan hydroelectric project on the Heihe River in Gansu Province. Bids are due March 12.

Dagushan is the second project of the Gansu Heihe Rural Hydropower Development Investment Program, the first being the 50.5-MW Erlongshan project upstream. Chinese officials previously requested bids for turbine-generator and crane equipment for Dagushan. (HNN 9/17/07)

The project is to have a 20-meter-tall dam, a reservoir of 290,000 cubic meters, and a powerhouse containing two 26-MW and one 13-MW turbine-generators.

On behalf of Gansu Zhangye Dagushan Hydropower Co., its procurement agent, Imstrimpex International Tendering Co. invites bids for:
Package 1: Main and station transformers.
Package 2: High-Voltage Equipment.
Package 3: Monitoring and Control Equipment.
Package 4: Cables.

Companies may bid for any or all packages. Bidding documents in English may be obtained from the Instrimpex address below for 2,000 renminbi or US$260 in cash or cashier’s check.
