Construction bids sought for France’s 1-MW Cavaletade

TOULOUSE, France 6/22/12 (PennWell) — The city of Toulouse seeks bids to design and build the 1-MW Cavaletade hydroelectric project, proposed for the Garonne River in Toulouse. Bids are due July 24.

The city named MJ2 Technologies SARL in 2011 to supply a turbine-generator and controls for Cavaletade.

Toulouse now seeks bids for two lots, one for civil engineering, structural work, and construction of the project, and another for construction of a sluice and auxiliary equipment.
