Construction Services Group wins Corps contract

SAVANNAH, Ga., 2/17/12 (PennWell) — The U.S. Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract worth nearly US$10.5 million to Construction Services Group for construction and remedial work within the Corps’ South Atlantic Division.

The South Atlantic Division, which overseas 33 multi-purpose projects in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama, last called for bids in December 2011.

The contract calls for lakes and dams general construction and design/build construction intended to provide rapid response to remediation of real property for new construction, rehabilitation, maintenance, or repair of structural, mechanical, and electrical facilities, including hydropower facilities.
