Corps again seeks hydrographic surveying in central U.S.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers again invites expressions of interest from firms to perform field surveys with automated hydrographic surveying capabilities, mainly in the Corps’ St. Louis District. Responses are due Aug. 10.

The St. Louis District invited expressions of interest in March from small businesses to perform the work. The Walla Walla District recruited firms in February to perform hydrographic surveying and mapping services in the Corps’ Northwestern Division. The Corps’ Portland District issued a similar solicitation last year.

Now, in an unrestricted solicitation, the St. Louis District seeks firms for up to three five-year indefinite-delivery contracts with the amount of work under each contract not to exceed $3 million. Primary assignments are to be in the St. Louis District with possibility of working elsewhere in the continental U.S.

Services are to include hydrographic and field surveys utilizing automated hydrographic survey systems. Work might consist of topographic surveys, dredge material measurement, high accuracy dam deformation monitoring surveys, and other services.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912P915R07101 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box. Bidders are required to submit Standard Form 330 packages by 3 p.m., Central time, Aug. 10 to Pat Filer at the address below. Forms may be obtained on the Internet at www.gsa.gov/portal/forms/type/TOP/category/22457/hostUri/portal.
