Corps awards contract for dam safety improvement programs

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a US$6 million contract to HNTB-Kleinfelder JV for specialized architect-engineer support for its dam safety programs.

The Corps’ Kansas City District last sought bids for the work in July 2012.

As per the contract, HNTB-Kleinfelder will provide support for the Corps’ Risk Management Center on Dam, Levee, and Flood Risk Management Structures.
