Corps awards contract for Southwestern Division hydrologic services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract to WEST Consultants Inc. to provide hydrologic, hydraulic engineering and design services, and related software development in its Southwestern Division.

The Corps’ Tulsa District sought bids for the work in August, which includes a maximum US$9.5 million award for services under a three-year base contract with a two-year option period.

Services would include hydrologic and hydraulic engineering design, modeling and analysis; hydrologic and hydraulic engineering manual development; and designing, programing, customizing and troubleshooting software.

HydroWorld.com reported that Oregon-based WEST Consultants had been awarded a similar Corps contract to provide services for its Northwest Division last November.
