Corps extends call for water resources consulting services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Hydrologic Engineering Center has extended the deadline for bids to provide water resources consulting services to analyze and anticipate emerging water resources trends and issues. Bids now are due Oct. 21.

The Corps previously called for bids by Oct. 13.

The agency last year awarded a contract to Northwest Hydraulic Consultants Inc. to provide hydrologic and hydraulic planning, analysis, modeling, software development and other services for the Hydrologic Engineering Center.

The Corps now intends to issue multiple award task order contracts to consultants to assist its Institute for Water Resources in all civil works mission areas including navigation, flood risk management, aquatic ecosystem restoration, hydropower, regulatory, recreation and water supply.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912HQ15R0003 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.

Bids now are due Oct. 21. For information, contact Richard J. Pecoraro, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Attn.: CEHEC-CT, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22315-3860; (1) 703-428-6485; E-mail: richard.j.pecoraro@usace.army.mil.
