Corps seeks construction management services in Mississippi Valley

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks expressions of interest in construction management and quality assurance services for projects in its Mississippi Valley Division, primarily in its New Orleans District. Responses are due Nov. 13.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the Corps’ New Orleans District plans to negotiate and award two indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contracts with base periods of one year with four one-year options. The work is not to exceed $12.5 million or five years, whichever comes first.

The work may involve engineering disciplines including structural, civil, geotechnical, hydraulic, environmental, mechanical, electrical, and cost engineering; construction management; and quality assurance. Types of construction are to include levees, revetments and various structures, dredging, floodwalls, and pump stations.
