Corps seeks firms for architect-engineer work in Northwestern Division

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on firms able to provide integrated architect and engineering services for Corps facilities including hydropower projects in the Corps’ Northwestern Division. Responses are due May 6.

The Corps’ Walla Walla District recruited firms in February to perform hydrographic surveying and mapping services in the Northwestern Division. The Portland District requested information in March on firms able to provide multi-disciplined engineering services in the region. Similarly, the Omaha District last year recruited firms to provide geotechnical engineering services for dams, levees and other facilities in the Northwestern Division.

In a sources sought notice, the Omaha District now seeks information on firms able to provide integrated architect and engineering services including preparation of civil works decision documents, water resources and related planning studies, analysis and surveying, engineering design of plans and specifications for construction, environmental compliance and independent technical review. It plans to use responses for market research in the issuance of a solicitation for two single-award task order contracts, one unrestricted and one for small businesses, valued at $4.9 million each.
