Corps seeks firms for geotechnical engineering in U.S. New England District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on firms able to provide geotechnical engineering services in the Corps’ North Atlantic Division, primarily in the New England District. Responses are due Feb. 27.

The New England District took bids in 2011 for architectural and engineering services including water resources development work and in 2010 requested information on firms to develop risk analysis and reliability models for civil works infrastructure in the district.

In a sources sought notice, the district now seeks information on small businesses that could perform many different geotechnical engineering and subsurface exploration assignments at various locations. It expects to issue up to two indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contracts totaling up to $5 million.
