Corps seeks spare draft tube stoplogs for 980-MW McNary Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to supply spare draft tube stoplogs for 980-MW McNary Dam on the Columbia River. Bids are due Dec. 20.

The Corps’ Walla Walla District previously announced it planned to issue an unrestricted solicitation for two sets of three stoplogs weighing 20 tons each.

The Corps took bids Nov. 12 to supply vertical barrier screen mesh panels for McNary Dam. It also awarded a contract to Seals Unlimited Inc. to supply stoplog seal assemblies and a contract to Marine Industrial Construction LLC to construct a prototype lamprey entrance structure in a fish ladder at the project.

A solicitation notice for the current tender may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912EF14B0002 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
