Enerquip wins contract for trashrack supply at 30-MW Ramfoss hydropower plant

Norwegian operator Ramfoss Kraftlag has awarded a contract to Enerquip AS to supply a trash rake for the 30-MW Ramfoss hydroelectric plant.

The company solicited bids for the work in July, which calls for a new 38-meter-wide trashrack cleaner, including installation and adaptation to existing installations.

The contract is valued at US$448,877.

Ramfoss was commissioned in 1961 and is located on the Snarumselva River. Ramfoss Kraftlag is also seeking bids to supply transformers, switchgear and control systems for a new transformer station at the plant.
