ESHA kicking off small hydro campaign with dinner

The European Small Hydropower Association (ESHA) is launching a new campaign it hopes will increase micro hydropower development with an event called “Getting to Know Small Hydropower” later this month.

The dinner, which will be held in the Members’ Salon of the European Parliament on March 26 at 6:30 p.m., is intended to bring awareness to what ESHA calls a “mature but often overlooked renewable energy technology.”

ESHA said the informational event will address the challenges faced by small hydro developers, and that “the active participation of interested policy-makers and stakeholders will therefore be appreciated”.

Further information about the event can be found via ESHA’s website.
