France’s navigable waterways agency, Voies Navigables de France (VNF), has awarded a contract to the consortium Groupement Peduzzi/Rouby/Gomez to rehabilitate the Plancher-Bas Dam on the Rahin River in France.
VNF most recently called for bids in May for work that includes the complete rehabilitation of Plancher-Bas, which supplies water to Champagney Reservoir. Rehabilitation includes renovation of gates, renovation or replacement of some concrete and masonry portions, construction of a fish ladder, automation and remote operation. The work is to be performed between May and November.
Champagney Reservoir is one of the largest in France and located in the Haute-Saone Department.
