French engineer seeks civil engineering, penstock for 1.86-MW Hautefage hydro project

French hydropower engineer Hydrostadium seeks bids to perform civil engineering and penstock work at the 1.86-MW Hautefage hydro project in France. Bids are due November 17.

Hydrostadium, a subsidiary of Electricite de France (EDF), took bids in May to supply gates to the Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny hydro project and turbines to Hautefage on the Maronne River at Correze. The engineer took bids in September to supply a cross-flow turbine-generator for reactivation of the 1-MW Brides-les-Bains hydropower project and in June to supply two replacement turbines for the 3.2-MW Mesce hydroelectric project, both in France.

Hydrostadium now seeks bids for civil engineering on reinforced steel pipe, concrete penstock, an operations building, maintenance of bottom outlet valves and construction site civil works at Hautefage Dam, which was built in 1958.
