French operator seeks construction of Montelimar small hydro

Compagnie Nationale du Rhone (CNR) seeks bids to construct the Montelimar small hydropower plant on France’s Rhone River. Bids are due October 30, 2009.

CNR already operates the 270-MW Montelimar plant. In 2008, it first called for construction of the Montelimar small hydro and another small hydro plant at the 354-MW Donzere-Mondragon project on the Rhone. (HydroWorld 1/11/08)
