French town seeks installation of Roche Corbiere micro-hydro project

The town of Saint-Etienne seeks bids for installation of the Roche Corbiere micro-hydro project at a pressure break in the municipality of Rochetaillee, France. Bids are due December 10.

Saint-Etienne awarded a contract in May to BRL Exploitation for monitoring and operation of the Lavalette Dam hydropower project and another in 2012 to SPIE Sud Est and Hydreo mandataire Sud Est for an instream flow turbine at that project. Saint-Etienne has been rehabilitating Lavalette Dam, its water supply facility built in 1914.

In the current solicitation, Saint-Etienne seeks structural, electrical, and mechanical work, including a Pelton turbine-generator, for a micro-hydro plant at the pressure break of a pumping station.

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in French, are due by noon December 10.
