French utility seeks flow measurement, analysis for its hydropower projects

Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids to perform flow measurement and hydraulic analyses of rivers, canals and other water works in its extensive system of hydroelectric projects. Bids are due June 25.

EDF previously called for bids by June 25 to provide studies and site monitoring in the fields of civil engineering and mechanics for hydroelectric projects. Recent rehabilitation of EDF projects includes bidding in February for reinforcement of Balme de Rencurel Dam and for a trashrack and downstream fish passage at the 8-MW Pebernat project.

The utility now seeks bids for up to four framework agreements to perform flow measurement and hydraulic analyses of rivers, canals and other water works at its hydroelectric projects, divided into two lots covering an eastern zone and a western zone of France. The agreements are to extend five years.

Applicants are to use the EDF procurement Internet site, https://pha.edf.com.
