French utility seeks hydraulic oil systems for 100 hydropower plants

Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids to supply and install hydraulic oil stations and related equipment to 100 hydropower plants throughout France. Bids are due January 15, 2014.

EDF has an ongoing program of maintenance and refurbishment at its portfolio of 435 hydroelectric projects. It proposes a framework agreement with up to six firms to equip about 205 generating units at 100 hydropower plants over 16 years.
