French utility seeks penstock rehab at 126-MW Passy, 101-MW Aston

Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids for refurbishment of penstocks of the 126-MW Passy and 101-MW Aston hydroelectric projects in France. Bids are due January 28, 2011.

In 2009, EDF took bids for refurbishment of the penstock of the 97-MW Nentilla hydroelectric project on France’s Aude River.

The utility currently seeks bids for two lots of work, one for Passy in the Haute Savoie region and the other for Aston in Ariege.

Tender documents may be obtained until January 7 from the address below. Bids, in French, are due January 28.
