French utility seeks substations for 1.1-MW Crescent, 1.1-MW Malassis hydro projects

Utility Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids to supply prefabricated substations for the 1.1-MW Crescent and 1.1-MW Malassis hydroelectric projects in France. Bids are due June 2.

EDF took bids in January to supply hydraulic oil stations and related equipment at 100 hydro projects throughout France. The Crescent project was built in 1932 and Malassis was built in 1931, both on La Cure River.

As part of rehabilitation of the two projects, EDF seeks bids for prefabricated substations, including studies, workshop testing, delivery and on-site testing. The work is expected to require six months.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in French, are due by 10 a.m. June 2 via EDF’s procurement Internet site, http://portail-achats.edf.com.
