The Foundation for Water & Energy Education is offering a new program to help encourage the public to learn about hydroelectric power projects within America’s Pacific Northwest.
Called the FWEE Hydro Cache Challenge, visitors to 12 hydropower plants and dams will earn stamps on their virtual passport. Participants who complete five visits will receive a special patch, while one winner will be entered into a drawing for a handheld GPS unit.
Participation in the challenge is free. For more information, visit the FWEE Hydro Cache Challenge site here.
