German utility seeks construction, equipment for 430-kW Halle

Municipal utility EVH GmbH, seeks bids for construction and equipment of a 430-kW hydroelectric project to be built on the city’s Halle weir. Bids are due July 25.

EVH plans to build the two-unit project on the Saale River, with work to begin in January 2012 and be completed in September 2013.

EVH seeks bids for nine lots including a new powerhouse, rebuilding the city weir, construction of a new fish transfer channel, pilings and excavation, access roads and facilities, turbine-generators and other equipment, and hydraulic steelwork.

Tender documents may be obtained until noon July 15 from the address below. Bids, in German, are due by noon July 25.
