Honduras seeks bids to equip small hydro projects

The government of Honduras seeks bids to supply and install electro-mechanical equipment for small hydroelectric projects in various parts of the country. Bids are due March 14.

With support of the European Union’s Asia and Latin America development program, tenders are sought by Honduras’ Secretaria Tecnica y de Cooperacion and utility Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica. (HNN 10/5/06)

An optional briefing is scheduled for 10 a.m. January 23 at the address below. An invitation-to-tender dossier may be obtained from the Internet at http://europa.eu.int/comm/europeaid/tender/index_es.htm or from the address below. Bids must be submitted on the standard tender form.

Questions may be submitted by e-mail to gauree2@metro-red.hn or mlgauree2@metro-red.hn, quoting publication reference EuropeAid/124215/D/SUP/HN. All correspondence concerning the solicitation must be in Spanish.

Bids are due by 3 p.m. March 14. They are to be opened the next day at the project offices: Proyecto GAUREE 2, contiguo Autobanco Atlantida, 2a Avenida entre 9 y 10 calle, Comayaguela, Honduras.
