Hydro project finalist for Be Inspired Awards

One particular hydro project has been announced as a finalist for the 2015 Be Inspired Awards program.

The awards honor the work of Bentley Systems Inc. users in advancing infrastructure design, construction and operations throughout the world. The 54 finalists were selected by 10 independent jury panels of industry experts. More than 360 nominations were submitted by organizations in 55 countries, Bentley says.

The hydropower-related finalist was announced in two categories:

— Hatch Ltd., Keeyask Hydroelectric Generating Station Project (Nelson River, Manitoba, Canada), Innovation in Megaprojects

— Hatch Ltd., Facility Design for the Keeyask Hydroelectric Generating Station (Nelson River, Manitoba, Canada), Innovation in Power Generation

The finalists will present their innovative projects in front of their peers, the jurors and more than 100 members of the media at the Year in Infrastructure 2015 conference, Nov. 3-5 in London.
