We’ve got today’s hot topics covered at HydroVision International

What’s a hot topic in the global hydropower industry right now?

Pumped storage? Check.

New small hydro development? Got it.

Dam safety? Yep.

This year’s HydroVision International event is covering the gamut of issues relevant to you, the people who work in this industry.

Through eight distinct conference tracks that range from asset strategies to environmental issues, HydroVision touches on all the important issues, straight from industry experts.

When you attend, you can learn about hybrid systems (such as solar technology installed at a hydro plant), licensing improvements in the U.S., asset management strategies, and pre-outage planning.

And if that’s not enough, this year HydroVision will offer a completely new way to get educated: Knowledge Hubs.

These sessions – in the exhibit hall – are shorter, more focused discussions of even more hot topics, organized under three topics:

  • Learning from Case Studies (sponsored by Hydro Tech)
  • Energy Storage and Grid Issues (sponsored by Voith)
  • Technology Horizons

HydroVision International takes place July 23 to 25 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
