The International Hydropower Association (IHA) is sponsoring a 2006 Business Summit on Sustainable Hydropower on August 1, focusing on critical issues of international hydropower policy.
Meeting in conjunction with the HydroVision 2006 Conference, July 31-August 4, in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A., IHA summit participants will discuss national and international water and energy policies that present opportunities, and threats, to hydropower.

Deadline nears for HydroVision registration discounts
June 15 is the deadline for advanced registration discounts for the HydroVision 2006 conference. By registering by June 15, individ-uals pay a $665 fee, saving $100 off the on-site price. Multiple discounts of $75 for each registration are available to companies purchasing four or more full registrations; all registrations must be submitted together to qualify.
The conference program includes eight tracks and an exhibition. Additionally, HydroVision features pre- and post-conference hydro plant tours, seminars and workshops, and professional meetings.
